About Rosy Movement
Move with joy not rules
OUR WHY // For you to feel seen and heard.
OUR GOAL // Empower you to understand your body and unique movement language. Develop a sustainable relationship with movement, guided by intuition and joy, not rules and restrictions.
Exercise isn’t about what we do to our bodies or what it does to us. It’s about what we do with our bodies that can make our lives better.
At Rosy Movement, we value:
Human first, movement second
Active listening
Collaboration
Rebuilding self-trust
Promoting your capability
No judgement
Flexibility in options
OUR APPROACH // While exercise is central to our life and work, we remain humbled by its limitations. We strive to create a safe, cosy, and inclusive space for you to move as you are.
OUR MISSION // We aim to empower heart-led humans to learn about their bodies, their unique movement language, and the benefits and limitations of exercise. Through focused care, we help you develop a sustainable relationship with your body and movement, guided by intuition and joy rather than rules and restrictions.
Remember: Exercise isn’t about what we do to our bodies or what it does to us. It’s about what we do with our bodies that can make our lives better.
About Alannah Miller
P.S. that’s Bear being snuggled – he’s the studio manager, chief welcomer and always up for a nuzzle
My why, the foundation of everything I do, the foundation of who I am, is for my people to feel seen and heard. While exercise is central to my life and work, I'm always humbled by its limitations in helping us feel healthy, physically capable and fulfilled in life.
Prescribing exercise to strengthen the human body may seem straightforward. But in my nearly decade-long teaching experience, I've learned that without a deep understanding of the person and taking responsibility for the role I play in their health outcomes, they can often leave feeling misunderstood, unsatisfied with their experience and disconnected from their body and health.
I aim to empower heart-led humans to learn about their body, their unique movement language and the benefits and limitations of exercise. In providing this high-touch and below the surface care, they can develop a sustainable relationship to their bodies and how they move, guided by intuition and joy, rather than rules and restrictions.
Exercise is not about what we do to our bodies or what it does to us. It’s about what we do with our bodies that can make our lives better.
