HOW ROSY’S PRIVATE CLASSES WORK

INITIAL CONSULTATION We start with a thorough assessment to understand your movement history, current abilities, and goals. This forms the foundation of your personalised approach.

CHOOSE YOUR PACKAGE Book individual classes or select packages of 5–10 classes for better value and consistent progress.

SELECT YOUR SETTING Attend in person at our Collingwood studio or online via zoom. Studio sessions include full access to our complete range of Pilates equipment.

BEAR APPEARANCES Our studio manager, Bear often joins in-person private sessions, bringing a relaxed atmosphere that helps clients feel more at ease.

MOVE & EMPOWER PROGRAM

Our signature 12-week program includes:

  • In depth initial assessment

  • Weekly check-ins

This program is ideal for those wanting structured, consistent support to establish long-term movement habits and skills.

PRIVATE PILATES FAQs

  • We prioritise teaching you to understand your own body rather than simply following instructions. Our approach emphasises building your movement confidence and independence, not creating dependency on an instructor.

  • Our initial Private Pilates sessions (required to be completed before progressing with private or semi-private classes) start at $250 for 90 minutes, including an in-depth assessment and movement plan. Follow-up classes start from $150. See our pricing page for our package options and group pricing.

  • Yes. Private sessions are excellent for beginners as they provide space to learn fundamentals without comparison or pressure. Many clients start with private sessions before joining our semi-private classes.

  • This depends on your goals and schedule. Weekly sessions build momentum quickly, while fortnightly sessions allow more time for practice between visits. We’ll discuss the right frequency during your initial consultation.

NO MIRRORS Our studio deliberately omits wall-to-wall mirrors, allowing you to focus on how movement feels rather than how it looks. This simple design choice helps shift attention from external appearance to internal sensation.

CONVERSATION-FIRST APPROACH Sessions begin with genuine conversation, not immediate exercise. We take time to check in about how you're feeling, what's happened since your last visit, and what your body needs today.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN Our thoughtfully arranged blinds and curtains can be adjusted to create the level of privacy you prefer. The studio layout ensures you won't feel exposed or on display during your session.

ONLINE OPTIONS For those who feel most comfortable in their own space, we offer comprehensive online sessions. These maintain the same personalised approach while allowing you to move in familiar surroundings.
