HOW ROSY’S PRIVATE CLASSES WORK
STEP 1 — GET STARTED BUNDLE
Every private membership begins with the Get Started Bundle — a 90-minute initial consultation followed by a 50-minute private session. This is where Susan, Leia or Alannah get to know you intimately — your movement history, your goals, your body and what support you need. Your personalised programme is built from this conversation. Nothing is assumed. See the GET STARTED BUNDLE for full details.
STEP 2 — CHOOSE YOUR MEMBERSHIP
Private membership is available at one, two, or three sessions per week. Membership locks in your preferred time each week and includes access to the online movement library, 15 minute quarterly reflection check-ins and a complimentary spot in our monthly Deep Dive matwork classes. Drop-in casual sessions are also available.
STEP 3 — CHOOSE YOUR SETTING
Attend in-person at the Collingwood studio — full access to all Pilates apparatus, props, yoga, and strength equipment in a completely private space — or online via Zoom with the same personalised approach.
A SPACE DESIGNED FOR COMFORT
“I don't think I've ever experienced a movement space quite as gentle and nurturing as Rosy. I get to explore, soften and challenge myself in a way that feels entirely my own—almost inception-like. When additional layers were offered, it still feels like my idea to engage with them. Encouragement without force.” — Sophia
Rosy Movement is intentionally designed for people mainstream fitness has misunderstood, stifled, and ignored.
NO MIRRORS Our studio deliberately omits wall-to-wall mirrors, allowing you to focus on how movement feels rather than how it looks. This simple design choice helps shift attention from external appearance to your internal compass.
CONVERSATION-FIRST APPROACH Sessions begin with a thoughtful check-in. We ask, we listen, and we attune to what you need that day — so the movement prescription always meets you where you are.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN Our thoughtfully arranged blinds and curtains can be adjusted to create the level of privacy you prefer. The studio layout ensures you won't feel exposed or on display during your session.
ONLINE OPTIONS For those who feel most comfortable in their own space, we offer comprehensive online sessions. These maintain the same personalised approach while allowing you to move in familiar surroundings.
PRIVATE CLASS FAQS
NOT SURE WHETHER PRIVATE
OR SEMI-PRIVATE IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
Private sessions are for people who want or need undivided one-to-one attention — whether that is because of a specific injury or condition, working toward a performance goal, a preference for training alone or a movement history that calls for a closer eye.
Semi-private sessions are for people who like to move alongside others — in a small, familiar group, with their own personalised program and individual instructor attention.
Both pathways begin with the Get Started Bundle. Both are led by Susan, Leia, or Alannah. The difference is your preference.
-
Private sessions at Rosy are not instructor-led in the traditional sense. Alannah, Susan, and Leia bring deep expertise in exercise science, Pilates, and movement — but their real skill is listening. Sessions are built around what you need, not what a programme says you should do. The goal is for you to leave understanding your body better than when you arrived, every single time.
-
Every new client begins with the Get Started Bundle — a one-off $499 investment that includes a 90-minute consultation and a 50-minute private session. Ongoing private membership starts from $199 per week for one session. See the pricing page for all membership options.
-
Yes. Private sessions are particularly well-suited to beginners — you don’t know what you can manage. You’re not sure what to say. You’re worried about standing out, keeping up, or having a difficult session in front of people you don’t know yet. Many clients begin with private sessions before moving into semi-private. Others stay in private sessions permanently. The difference is your preference.
-
Weekly sessions build the kind of rhythm and continuity that makes meaningful change possible. Drop-in sessions suit people whose schedules need more flexibility. The right frequency is the one you can sustain — and that conversation happens during your initial consultation.

"I feel that my self confidence has improved significantly as I have begun to trust my body a lot more ...
"Since coming to Rosy I feel that my self confidence has improved significantly as I have begun to trust my body a lot more. I trust myself because you have shown me consideration and kindness. I feel confident in myself, at the same time I know that I can stop or slow down If I need to without judgement. My body feels stronger and I'm not so stiff and sore anymore."

“The best teachers know exactly where you are at today, and respect that with kindness and empathy ...
“The best teachers know exactly where you are at today, and respect that with kindness and empathy. But they also know that you want to move beyond the present moment and go somewhere new. They bring their skills and experience to that step forward into the unknown, guiding their students to find something that they didn’t know they had in them, just a little beyond their reach, and creating a sense of possibility and evolutionary progress as they do. That is Alannah’s style - she is a highly empathetic, skilful and creative teacher, her sessions are never predictable or boring, and she has a wonderful knack for finding that sweet spot of mental and physical stretch where the learning really fires up.”

"I feel like I’m making long term changes that will have huge positive impacts on my lifestyle ...
"For the first time in a long time I feel like my body is starting to move again the way that I want it to. So many times I’d begin my exercise and movement plan, and I’d end up unstuck and injured, but since starting with Rosy, I’ve really trusted their approach and their process. I feel like I’m making long term changes that will have huge positive impacts on my lifestyle, and that’s why I can’t recommend them enough."

"For the first time in my life I'm able to see exercise and moving my body as a for life thing ...
"Exercise used to be about achieving specific things, like looking fit for an event or wanting to try a new class. For the first time in my life I'm able to see exercise and moving my body as a for life thing. You've helped me flip my mindset from feeling exercise is something other people do to something I can now enjoy."
