ABOUT ALANNAH

Alannah Miller is an Exercise Scientist and Pilates Teacher who founded Rosy Movement after experiencing firsthand how traditional exercise culture can disconnect us from our bodies rather than support them. Following a debilitating back injury at 21, she transformed her relationship with movement from punishment to healing—an experience that now informs every aspect of her teaching.

With nearly a decade of experience, Alannah specialises in making movement accessible, sustainable, and genuinely supportive for diverse humans. Her background spans clinical rehabilitation, pregnancy and postpartum care, weight-inclusive practice, and helping people rebuild trust with their bodies after injury or disconnection.

Alannah's approach is grounded in exercise science but delivered with warmth, humour, and deep respect for the complexity of being human. She believes exercise isn't about what we do to our bodies—it's about what we do with our bodies to make our lives better.
