HOW ROSY’S PRIVATE CLASSES WORK
GET STARTED BUNDLE We start with a thorough conversation and movement observation to get to know you, understand your personal story and movement experiences. This forms the foundation of your personalised approach [see our GET STARTED BUNDLE for more].
CHOOSE YOUR MEMBERSHIP Choose from 1, 2 or 3 classes per week memberships for better value and the benefits that come with a consistent movement practice as well as being able to secure your class time each week.
SELECT YOUR SETTING Attend in person at our Collingwood studio or online via zoom. Studio sessions include full access to our complete range of Pilates apparatus, props and equipment.
BEAR APPEARANCES Our studio manager, Bear often joins in-person private sessions with Alannah, bringing a relaxed atmosphere that helps clients feel more at ease.
A SPACE DESIGNED FOR COMFORT
At Rosy Movement, we've intentionally created an environment that prioritises your comfort and reduces the anxiety often associated with movement spaces:
NO MIRRORS Our studio deliberately omits wall-to-wall mirrors, allowing you to focus on how movement feels rather than how it looks. This simple design choice helps shift attention from external appearance to internal sensation.
CONVERSATION-FIRST APPROACH Sessions begin with genuine conversation, not immediate exercise. We take time to check in about how you're feeling, what's happened since your last visit, and what your body needs today.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN Our thoughtfully arranged blinds and curtains can be adjusted to create the level of privacy you prefer. The studio layout ensures you won't feel exposed or on display during your session.
ONLINE OPTIONS For those who feel most comfortable in their own space, we offer comprehensive online sessions. These maintain the same personalised approach while allowing you to move in familiar surroundings.
This careful attention to comfort isn't just about being nice—it's essential for creating an environment where true learning and physical progress can happen. When your nervous system feels safe, your body becomes more receptive to movement exploration and change.

We prioritise teaching you to understand your own body and movement rather than simply following our instructions. Our approach emphasises building your movement confidence and independence, not creating dependency on an instructor or cultural rules.

Our initial Get Started Bundle is required before booking ongoing private, semi-private classes or move and empower program, this is a one-ff fee of start at $499 ( includes 90 minute consultation + 50 minute session), including an in-depth conversation and personalised approach development. Yes. Private sessions are excellent for beginners as they provide space to learn fundamentals without comparison or pressure. Many clients start with private sessions before joining our semi-private classes.

This depends on what feels sustainable for you right now. Weekly sessions offer the kind of consistent rhythm that builds trust in your body and creates accountability in our full lives. Drop-in sessions give you flexibility to join when it works for you. Both have their place - and we'll explore what frequency supports you best during your initial conversation. What matters most is finding a rhythm you can return to, again and again.
