Semi-Private Pilates at Rosy Movement offers the perfect balance—the energy and connection of sharing space with others while still receiving personalised attention and guidance. With a maximum of just three participants per 50-minute class, these sessions maintain an intimate feel with abundant individual support.

Each participant works with their own custom Movement Menu designed specifically for their body, goals, and movement needs. This menu travels with you throughout the session, providing:
Core movements that form the foundation of your practice
Exercises curated for your current movement goals
Progressive elements that build strength and flexibility
Techniques we’re working on together
Options to expand your practice when you’re ready
FREE MOVEMENT BETWEEN EQUIPMENT
You’ll have access to all Pilates apparatus (Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and Mat) with the freedom to move between stations at your own pace. With just three participants maximum, there’s plenty of equipment for everyone.
GUIDED INDEPENDENCE
Alannah remains actively present throughout the class—offering options, guidance, and encouragement while you develop greater movement confidence.
You’ll learn to set up equipment, make adjustments, and recognise what your body needs.

Our Collingwood studio features adjustable blinds and curtains for privacy, no mirrors (unless requested), and a layout that minimises feeling exposed or observed.

CLASSES WORK …
INITIAL CONSULTATION We begin with a thorough 90-minute assessment to understand your movement history, needs, and goals, creating the foundation for your personalised approach.
INTRODUCTORY PRIVATE CLASS This second private session allows us to craft your personalised Movement Menu based on insights from the initial consultation, ensuring you feel confident with your program before joining the group environment.
CHOOSE YOUR PACKAGE After completing your consultation and introductory private session, you can book individual semi-private classes or select packages of 5–10 classes for better value.
SELECT YOUR SCHEDULE Semi-Private classes are available at various times throughout the week at our Collingwood studio. Online options are not available for semi-private sessions.
BEAR APPEARANCES Our studio manager, Bear often joins semi-private sessions, bringing a relaxed atmosphere that helps clients feel more at ease.

No prior experience is necessary, but all participants must complete an initial consultation and introductory private session before joining group classes. This ensures you have the fundamentals in place to move safely and confidently.

Traditional group classes typically follow a one-size-fits-all approach where everyone performs the same exercises. Our Semi-Private format provides each participant with their own personalised Movement Menu, allowing for individualised programming within a shared space.

Your Movement Menu will include exercises for all apparatus, with specific instructions for each piece. During your introductory private session, you’ll learn the fundamentals of equipment setup and safety.
